Do you still remember Monster Munch from back home? OK, I’m going way back when Monster Munch was available in South Africa. (Maybe late 80’s early 90’s?)
Monster Munch used to be one of my favourite snacks, together with Flings & Ghost Pops!
I walked around Park ‘n Shop in WhamPoa Garden (next to Hung Hom) yesterday and look what I found:
I bought a couple of packets on the spot in 2 flavors: hot (my favorite) as well as pickled onion @ HK$5 each.
Yippeeee!

I just went to the wham pao park’n shop super store but i can’t find where the monster munchs in there, can you tell me more about which location or anywhere i can buy this? thanks
I found it in about the third isle (where the check-outs are). Oh dear! That must mean they’re SOLD OUT!
I was very excited to know you can buy monster munch in HK, it’s been 20 more years, I still remember the taste when I was a kid in Liverpool early 80’s.
Ming, I just got back from Park & Shop and they seem to be back! Read about where & prices here:

hi! it seem I’m too late again, I just know it yesterday, and rush there this morning, I went to the crisp corner, I can see calbee, lays and other famous brand, but can’t find monster munch, I scanned for 10 times in that corner, and I search for the whole store, but nothing.
are we talk the same store? the one i went was super store.
I suspect we are talking about 2 different stores Ming, because they still have lots in the shelves! The one I’m talking about is in the HomeWorld section, near to where Yoshinoya/Spagetti House is. You’ve got to know this one because there are only 2 stores in Whampoa Garden.
yes you are right, I went to the wrong store, the one I went to was not super store, so I went to the other store and finally found it!! holding 2 bag of monster munch is like I met back a long lost friend, it bring back alot of kids memory.
I’m sorry I don’t live in Hung Hom this is why I make a big mistake. Mike thanks for your help without you monster munch is just a dream for me, many thanks to you.
Wow! Finally a Howzit-HongKong.com success story!
Cheers Ming! Send us a pic with your “prize.”
